Jason Campbell joins the Raiders

JaMarcus Russell, there’s a new sheriff in town and his name is Jason Campbell. On Saturday the Raiders traded their 4th round pick in the 2011 season to the Washington Redskins for QB Jason Campbell.
Campbell has improved every year of his professional career despite an endless coaching carousel. He should immediately be considered as the front runner to become the Raiders starting quarterback next year. ESPN Adam Schefter has reported that the Raiders have already extended his contract through the 2011 season.
This is an immediate upgrade for the Raiders offense and Campbell might finally help deveolp that wide receiving corps.
